According to Civil Fire, The Pines’ fire protection service, the normal rate for a building the size of the Pines is at least 6 inaccessible units, resulting in callbacks and additional costs. All units (one where owners were overseas, but accounted for) were successfully inspected over the two hour period.

The inspection is required in order for the Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) to be issued to Council.
