| The Pines Strata Management is driven by: 1) Our unpaid Strata Committee whose activities are dictated by our Corporate Calendar to manage/schedule day-to-day operations, and 2) Our Strata Management Company providing paid financial management and regulatory compliance expertise to assist the Committee. Strata committees play an important role in decision-making, maintenance, and governance of strata properties. However, the Pines, similar to other properties, faces some challenges including: * a lack of interest and commitment from volunteers, * our aging resident community, * difficulties in finding suitably qualified candidates for committee positions, and * time constraints on volunteer committees.
