Subject to suitable weather conditions, particularly wind, painters will begin preparation work Monday 15/8 on the WESTERN face of the Pines. This is the side facing The Crescent.
ALL Owners and Residents are requested to keep ALL windows closed on this side of the building during preparation. Work will begin with washing down the external surfaces prior to painting, and this will involve the likelihood of dirty water being splashed about.
UPDATE MAJOR WORKS NORTHERN ELEVATION @ 15 AUGUST 2022
The following is Sutech/Fluid Building Services (FBS)’ update to the original program planned for the Northern Elevation balcony works. Please be aware that rain and particularly wind, as well as individual unit issues which crop up and cause delays, will continue to cause variance with the timings.
- Membrane works to the balconies commenced late last week.
- Assuming no rain, painting preparation will commence on the western façade in the week beginning 15/8.
- FBS/Sutech will be removing a prototype door next week to allow for the membrane works to be completed. This is to clarify any issues which may come up and to get a rough assessment of how long each door replacement might take.
- If there are little or no issues encountered, then FBS/Sutech will be contacting affected occupants to arrange for door removal and reinstatement or replacement to occur. (Week of the 22/8)
Once this is done, FBS will be tiling and finishing. Hopefully this will be by early to mid-September.
