Alas the Lift is Out Again.
Perversely, our lift continues to fail just as we’re on the brink of starting the refurbishment—almost as if it knows it’s operating on borrowed time! Sunday’s failure resulted in a different error code appearing on the control panel, indicating yet another issue. The COO from Hamilton Elevators is scheduled to visit tomorrow with the goal of at least keeping the lift operational through the week. This will allow everyone to make their final arrangements before the planned shutdown on September 9th. Fingers crossed we can get through this final stretch!
