MAJOR WORKS UPDATE: SUN 5 FEB 2023

Week(s) Ahead

An increase in manpower by builders Fluid BS means that tiling, door removal and hob works for ALL affected Southern Balcony (2-bed) units will be accelerated, beginning with Units 39, 36, 33, and 30 tomorrow, Monday 6th February.

Detailed timetable for these and all other Southern Balcony tiling and door removal works is laid out in the chart below. Please check!

Affected residents are requested to move furniture, paintings and ornaments at least one metre away from their doors prior to the proposed start date of these works in their respective unit.

Affected residents are requested to leave their sliding doors AND hinged door unlocked for the duration of works scheduled for their unit.

Affected residents are also requested to remove blinds and curtains if possible. Please be aware that once removed, existing blinds and curtains may need to be altered to fit.

Once doors are removed, openings will be boarded up. Subject to any delays (weather, difficulties with particular doors), it is anticipated that each affected unit will take up to 7 days to complete the work.

Vehicle access to garages and driveway in the weeks ahead.

There will be multiple deliveries occurring through the weeks ahead as balcony screeding, membrane and tiling goes ahead.

Residents are reminded to always allow time to check for delivery truck obstructions on the driveway and B1 platform area before driving out or in, and to be patient. Fluid will make access available as soon as they can.

Lift access

The lift will be off-line on Wednesday 8th February from 1.00pm to 2.30pm for its quarterly maintenance check.
