Progress Report
Southern (2-bed) Elevation
Tiling of Southern (2-bed) Elevation affected balconies is proceeding quickly and by tomorrow, Monday, will be close to starting on the 6th floor (Unit 18). Tiling is proceeding from the top down. All affected balconies in the Southern Elevation are requested to keep their sliding and hinged doors unlocked.
Please Note: In the interests of speed, tiling of balconies is completed with the exception of skirting tiles around the balcony railing hob and walls, and an expansion joint running down the centre. This detailing will occur shortly after, as will work on the internal door hob facings.
A platform has now been constructed in the back garden and the hanging stage has been moved to access the front façade of the Eastern (3-bed) Elevation for cleaning, spalling and painting works.
All garages in the B2 clothesline area are currently accessible until further notice, as is the clothesline. This will change when the hanging stage is repositioned for painting and spalling works on the side balconies of the Eastern Elevation.
Eastern (3-bed) Elevation
Week Ahead
Tomorrow (Monday), the painters will wash down the Eastern Elevation (3-bed) balconies prior to painting. This will affect ALL Eastern Elevation balconies.
ALL Eastern Elevation residents are requested to keep sliding doors closed, but unlocked, adjacent windows closed and any balcony furniture/plants etc. removed or covered, as water will be sprayed around.
On Tuesday, painters will start painting of soffits (ceilings) on all ALL Eastern Elevation (3-bed) balconies. At the same time, bricklayers will complete the remaining brick cavity works on this elevation.
Unit 21 hinged door: Builders (Fluid) are hopeful that new door will be available 14th April.
Other
Unit 24 hinged door: Builders (Fluid) will install during the week.
Unit 10 side balcony doors: Will come out during the week.
