Roof Waterproofing Works

Further water shutdowns are scheduled for individual elevations from 9.00am to approximately 3.30-4.00pm this week. They are:

Wednesday 28th June Southern Elevation (Units 3, 6, 9,12, 15, 18, 21, 24,27, 30, 33, 36, 39)
Thursday 29th June Northern Elevation: (Units 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38)
Friday 30th June Eastern Elevation: (Units 1, 4, 7, 10, 14A, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37)

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL RESIDENTS, VISITORS AND/OR CLEANERS/CONTRACTORS UNDERSTAND THAT NO TOILET CAN BE FLUSHED, OR WATER USED AT ANY TIME IN THE RELEVANT ELEVATION, ON THE RELEVANT DAY, DURING THIS PERIOD.

Residents will be advised as soon as water is put back on, should work be completed ahead of schedule.

The roof is now a works zone, and as such is a dangerous area. Access is restricted to Fluid Building Services work personnel ONLY.

With the roof works underway, residents should be prepared for noise, including some jackhammer work. We are looking at about another 6 weeks of roof works, weather permitting.

Removal of B1 Parking Area Steel Platform
The scaffolders will begin to dismantle the steel support platform positioned over the B1 parking area from Monday 26th June, starting with timbers removal. The heavy steel will begin to come down on Wednesday. Work will hopefully be completed by early the following week.

B1 Parking
Dismantling and removal of the steel support platform positioned over the B1 parking area will significantly impact B1 parking for at least this week, weather permitting, due to safety issues. In addition, there will be painters working in the B1 parking area. Accordingly, residents with garaging on B1 who require their cars throughout the working day are requested to move their vehicles onto the street by 7.00am. It will be safe to return vehicles overnight after 3.30pm. Residents will be informed immediately these restrictions can be eased.

B2 Parking
 B2 garage users, including those around the clothesline area, need to be careful and aware of painters moving around the lower areas of the building. Also please continue to check for truck movements on the driveway. Please enter and exit slowly and sensibly.
