To help maintain a respectful and welcoming community, leasing managers are asked to ensure tenants are aware of and comply with the following by-laws.
Summary of Key Bylaws Affecting Renters at The Pines
Noise Control
- Noise must be kept to a minimum, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.
- Includes music, parties, pets, appliances, and renovations.
No Smoking
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all common areas including foyers, stairwells, lift, garages, and corridors.
Parking
- Resident can only park in designated spaces or on the street.
- NO Visitor parking is available.
Pets (Dogs Must Be Leashed)
- Pets must have prior written approval.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times on common property.
Balconies & Common Property
- Balconies must be clean and free of clutter or hanging laundry.
- No storage is allowed in hallways or other shared areas.
Garbage Disposal
- All rubbish must be properly bagged and placed inside designated Red (trash), Blue (paper), Yellow (Recyclables) bins.
- Dumping items beside or near bins is not permitted.
Moving In/Out & Access Devices
- Moves must be scheduled using the Moving In/Out Form.
- Keys, remotes, and swipes remain the property of the Owners and must be returned to Leasing Agent or Owner.
E-Bikes & E-Scooters
Registration
- E-bikes and e-scooters must be registered using the E-Bike & Scooter Register Form.
Charging Restrictions
- Charging of e-bikes/scooters is strictly prohibited in any common area (foyers, basements, corridors) due to fire risk.
Short-Term Rentals
Airbnb & Similar Platforms
- Short-term letting (Airbnb, Stayz, etc.) is not permitted under Pines by-laws.
