To help maintain a respectful and welcoming community, leasing managers are asked to ensure tenants are aware of and comply with the following by-laws.

Summary of Key Bylaws Affecting Renters at The Pines

Noise Control

  • Noise must be kept to a minimum, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.
  • Includes music, parties, pets, appliances, and renovations.

No Smoking

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all common areas including foyers, stairwells, lift, garages, and corridors.

Parking

  • Resident can only park in designated spaces or on the street.
  • NO Visitor parking is available.

Pets (Dogs Must Be Leashed)

  • Pets must have prior written approval.
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times on common property.

Balconies & Common Property

  • Balconies must be clean and free of clutter or hanging laundry.
  • No storage is allowed in hallways or other shared areas.

Garbage Disposal

  • All rubbish must be properly bagged and placed inside designated Red (trash), Blue (paper), Yellow (Recyclables) bins.
  • Dumping items beside or near bins is not permitted.

Moving In/Out & Access Devices

  • Moves must be scheduled using the Moving In/Out Form.
  • Keys, remotes, and swipes remain the property of the Owners and must be returned to Leasing Agent or Owner.

E-Bikes & E-Scooters

Registration

Charging Restrictions

  • Charging of e-bikes/scooters is strictly prohibited in any common area (foyers, basements, corridors) due to fire risk.

Short-Term Rentals

Airbnb & Similar Platforms

  • Short-term letting (Airbnb, Stayz, etc.) is not permitted under Pines by-laws.
