| Following inquiries from some residents, I had a detailed discussion with our Treasurer, David, about the front foyer, a topic previously highlighted in our Major Works program meetings. As confirmed by Sutech, the issue isn’t merely about replacing broken tiles. We are dealing with significant drainage problems underneath the floor area. To rectify this, it’s necessary to remove the tiles along the front pathway and implement a new drainage system that will extend around the building’s exterior, including the area near the letterboxes. After resolving these drainage issues, we can proceed with the interior refurbishment. This process, however, will result in the front entrance being inaccessible for several weeks. Considering the holiday season, the Strata Committee decided to delay the project to 2024 to minimize inconvenience to residents and their families during Christmas.
