Peter Sharp: Accidental Tourist
Forty ‘plein air’ paintings from Sydney artist Peter Sharp’s practice, spanning thirty years. Works reflect Sharpe’s travels to regional and remote Australia and have become part of his ‘toolkit’ for larger abstract works.

Finalists announced for inaugural Environmental Art and Design Prize
Congratulations to all 175 finalists in the Open section, selected across seven categories, and 53 finalists in the Young Artist/Designer section chosen across the 7-12 year and 13-18 years categories.
The exhibition of work will celebrate the vibrancy of the Australian arts and design community. Meanwhile, it will highlight the importance of the prize in engaging artists and inspiring conversations about renewal, regeneration and issues impacting the human and natural world.

We’re looking for poems that resonate with the theme of the major drawing exhibition by Australian artist Salvatore Zofrea: The underlying narrative of Zofrea’s personal journey from Italy to the Australian landscape and the power of mark-making.

Northern Beaches Council Arts & Creativity Grants 2021
Get funding for innovative, creative projects, new ideas and professional development with an Arts & Creativity grant. Open to creative practitioners and arts organisations across all art forms.
Applicants from outside the Northern Beaches must demonstrate how projects directly benefit individuals or communities within the Northern Beaches area.
Grant categories include:
• Individual Creative Projects – Up to $5,000
• Creative Community Projects – Up to $10,000
• Creative Sector Innovation Projects – Up to $10,000
