| The lift in our building has been inoperative all weekend. We expect Hamiltons to fetch a replacement part from their warehouse on Monday and proceed with the repairs. Our lift is quite old, and finding replacement parts is becoming increasingly challenging. The Strata Committee has earmarked funds for a lift rebuild in 2024, as outlined in our 10-year plan. However, we anticipate the lift will be non-functional for at least 6 to 8 weeks during the rebuild. This is particularly concerning given the number of elderly residents at the Pines, as such a prolonged outage could significantly impact them. We intend to provide ample notice before the renovation starts, allowing residents to prepare accordingly.
