MAJOR WORKS UPDATE: SUN 18 DEC 2022

Demolition of all nominated balconies on the eastern and southern drops have been completed. The top six levels of cavities are underway. Spalling is completed on the southern balconies. Eastern elevation balcony concrete spalling works currently underway.

Preparation works for site lock down for the Christmas break to be completed next week. Screeds expected to be completed on the southern elevation balconies.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR HOLIDAY ADVISORY

The Pines construction site will be shut down between 23^rd December – 9^th January 2023.  During site shut down:

• There is NO access to balconies for residents where membrane and tile replacement is currently underway.  These balconies are considered a construction zone and neither Fluid’s nor the Owners Corporation’s Insurance Policies provide coverage for access to be granted.

Owners/residents are responsible for managing their guests during the holiday period and MUST ensure that no attempts are made by any individuals to access the scaffold.

• If residents become aware of any unauthorised person(s) on the scaffold, they should notify the police immediately, as well as a member of the Strata Committee.
• If scaffold noises, movement or otherwise occur during the Christmas break then residents should contact the committee, who will contact Sutech and Fluid Building Services.  
• Please be aware that due to storage of large equipment and placement of swinging stage anchor points, the roof is designated a construction site until works begin again on January 9.
